Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC

Role overview

As a Management Accountant, you’ll find yourself working with a team of talented people who are committed to driving financial

• Support the preparation of Management Accounts for all entities (working day 5) - including Profit & Loss, cashflow and balance

• Play a key role in influencing commercial decision-making and strategy for the Build-to Rent and Residential business.
• Prepare the monthly results and KPIs for Board pack reporting.
• Be responsible for all intercompany recharges ensuring that all costs are recorded and accounted for in the correct entity
• Prepare monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, deferred income, accrued income, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinate financial reporting for Build-to Rent and Residential with the aim of monitoring and improving the financial

• Support senior management team across Build-to-Rent and Residential business areas to drive commercial performance.
• Support the Financial Controller in managing the budget setting, forecasting, and reporting requirements for urbanbubble main

• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with Year End Audit supporting the external Auditors
• Develop management information and KPIs
• Ensure that financial controls are in place, maintained and developed.
• Contribute to improving current processes and systems
• Support the Financial Controller and ELT/SMT with any ad hoc reporting

• Practical experience in core accounting (Property Industry experience is desirable)
• Experience producing management accounts to a high standard in a timely manner
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
• Highly enthusiastic and looking to develop and progress in the role
• Great communication skills, particularly in terms of presenting financial information to non-finance people, both verbally and

• IT literate, with particular competence in spreadsheets/Excel (advanced) and finance systems.
