Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – Part Time – Predominantly Remote – Up to £65 per hour (Umbrella)

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is assisting a Local Authority in their search for an experienced Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join their legal department. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development agreements
• Supporting Regeneration projects, including negotiating key agreements
• Drafting and negotiating property and commercial contracts, including overage agreements, option agreements, and grant funding
• Providing legal advice on land and property law, including landlord and tenant matters
• Working closely with Council departments, developers, and external stakeholders to progress key projects

Role Details:

• Duration: Initial 3-6-month contract, with a likelihood of extension thereafter
• Working Arrangements: Part Time (2 days), Hybrid working available
• Rate: Up to £65 per hour (via umbrella)
