Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day cleaning and general maintenance operations at Yate Shopping Centre. This role is essential in ensuring that the centre remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for both customers and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of cleaning and maintenance staff.
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across the shopping centre.
- Ensure health & safety compliance at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report or address maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialist repairs or services.
- Maintain cleaning and maintenance supplies inventory.
- Create staff rotas and manage attendance.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Liaise with centre management regarding operational needs and improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a cleaning and/or maintenance supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to manage a team effectively and work independently.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and hands-on approach to work.
