JOB TITLE: Security Officer
LOCATION: Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Belfast
PAY RATE: £13.20 PER HOUR

SHIFT HOURS: Various shifts, 37.5 hours per week

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our client’s property and personnel. Your proactive approach and strong observational skills will help deter and respond to security threats effectively, ensuring peace of mind for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine patrols both inside and outside the premises to monitor for any unusual activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, conducting risk assessments as required
- Control access to the site, ensuring only authorized personnel enter
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on all incidents and activities during your shift
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting employees and visitors in a professional manner
- Engage with local law enforcement to report criminal activities when necessary
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
- Possession of a valid SIA licence is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Ability to remain alert and calm during stressful situations
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and emergency procedures
