A Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager is needed to join Kee Systems, a UK leader in ground based and height safety solutions. Expect a rewarding opportunity (£68k based on performance) that will position you at the forefront of the business pitching industry leading fall protection solutions.

Founded in 1946, Kee are one of the oldest and most respected Safety specialists in the UK. Designing, supplying and installing pedestrian barriers, DDA compliant handrails and safety barriers to sites across the UK. Pioneers of what they do they are expanding and are now seeking a construction or engineering savvy Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager to spread the word and drive recognition and sales for their fall protection products and services.

As a Sales Consultant / Sales Professional from the engineering, construction, safety solutions or related industries you will work at the forefront of the business, generating and following up on sales opportunities (from both assigned leads and your own proactive outreach).

It goes without saying that you'll attend site visits, prepare quotations, and develop strong relationships, but you'll also work alongside the Sales Manager imparting ideas and strategies that drive growth beyond individual deals.

Full product training is provided, so although fall protection experience is helpful, it is not essential. In-fact some of our best hires have come from people outside of industry!

Key Requirements: You should be an ambitious, driven and motivated Sales Consultant / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Consultant / Technical Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Professional or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

The ability to spot opportunities whether that is a solution a product or a service; A natural ability to communicate with people and build relationships; A solid understanding of business and marketing principles; The ability to interpret technical information and drawings; You are a team player who can also work on their own; Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills; A full UK Driving Licence; Willingness to travel (as required for onsite visits for surveys and quotations).

Additional security screening may be required, eg. DBS check.
