Rate of pay: £12.90Where: Swansea and surrounding areas
What: Primary school setting working across EYFS-KS2
Are you seeking a full-filling full-time role supporting children on a 1:1 and group intervention basis. We are seeking someone who’s passion is working towards bettering pupils learning journey whilst in a primary school setting. The role requires someone with personal or professional experience with children or vulnerable adults.Knowledge of additional learning needs is a key factor for this role. We can provide training for this. We are seeking someone who cab commit to full-time hours from Monday-Friday 0830-15.30.
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of all students or on a 1:1 basis.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support and help them achieve their learning goals.
- Assist in the creation of learning materials, resources, and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and report on their achievement to teachers and parents.
- Support the maintenance of a positive and safe learning environment.
- Provide support for students with additional needs, including those with disabilities or learning difficulties.
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
- Cover day-to-day supply such as sickness and general cover.
- Teaching Assistant with experience supporting Primary students.
- Available immediately to work as a Primary Teaching Assistant.
- Happy to apply for or already have an enhanced DBS on the updated service.
- Experience working with children or adults in an educational or caring capacity.
- Own means of transport
