Job overview
We are looking to recruit an individual to work within the Cancer Services team supporting with the data processing in the provision of the Trust’s key Cancer performance and management information.
We are looking for staff with a good eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks. The job will involve collating and quality checking data related to key cancer performance targets to ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to assist with the data processing and analytical support to the Cancer Services team in the provision of the Trust’s key Cancer performance and management information.

Person specification
Education and Qualifications
Essential criteria- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Previous health provider experience
- Previous experience of working within Cancer Services environment
- Business Administration qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of using computerised data systems
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel to analyse data and produce reports
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria- High level of literacy and Numeracy
- Good analytical skill
- Effective computer skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Able to prioritise and work on own initiative and under pressure
- High level of self-motivation & ability to work without close supervision
- Use of hospital information systems (iPM, eHR, Somerset etc)
- Understanding of Cancer patient pathways
