Site Engineer
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Site Engineer to strengthen their team.

Site Engineer role:
- Report to the Site Manager, ensuring safe and accurate construction by providing setting out, quality control, and maintaining records.
Site Engineer responsibilities:
- Perform setting out and maintain comprehensive quality records.
- Perform setting out and maintain comprehensive quality records.
- Checking site work to ensure compliance with the specification and drawings and assist in maintaining drawing files, drawing register and site filing system.
- Collaborate with the design department for ongoing information updates.
- Extract quantities from drawings for measurement purposes and to support requisition preparation.
- Contribute to the Inspection & Test Plan and assist in preparing construction completion documentation within the Site Engineering scope.
- Ensure that the works are constructed to a good quality in line with the specification and good working practice.
- Collaborate with site staff to ensure all work adheres to current legislation, the company's health & safety policy, procedures, and safe working practices.
- Contribute to the development of construction programs, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
Site Engineer requirements:
Essentiall• Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations, automatic level, GPS, robotics)
Desirable- BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction
- SMSTS/SSSTS
- CSCS Supervision card
- EUSR SHEA Water
- Temporary Works Supervisor
