The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life.Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.
We are recruiting for a Head Chef to join our Catering team in our Cardiff and the Vale Hospice.
Hours:Full time- 37.5 hours per week This role covers the whole range of the catering service, including the patient food service, functions and buffets.
What were looking for: Experience in HACCP and COSHH Excellent team management and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and email 706/1City and Guilds or equivalent 706/2 City and Guilds or equivalent e.g., Professional Cookery NQ (SCQF Level 5 and 6) What's in it for you: Salary Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale (aligned with AFC) Band 5 £28,834
