Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) - EYFS (ASD Support)**
  • **Location:** Small, community-focused village school near Garstang
  • **Position:** SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) working 1:1 with a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • **Type:** Full-time, starting as soon as possible

We are currently seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and skilled SEN TA to join our supportive team, working 1:1 with a young pupil with ASD in our EYFS setting.

### Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in the EYFS, using strategies to encourage engagement and positive learning experiences
  • Assist with individualized education plans (IEPs), monitoring and recording progress
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment, promoting social and emotional development
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and SEN specialists to implement tailored interventions and adjustments
### Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience supporting pupils with ASD in an educational setting, ideally in EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience
  • Able to adapt to each child's unique needs and learning styles
  • Team player who values collaboration and inclusivity
