Team Leader
Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Team Leader to our service in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
We are looking for an energetic, passionate and organised Team Leader to support the Registered Manager with providing excellent person-centred care to service users living at our supported accommodation service in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be providing support to the individuals who live here with a range of support needs, primarily mental health support needs, including Autism and learning disabilities as a secondary diagnosis.
Team Leader Duties:
To enable the service users to increase their independence, experience improved wellbeing, and enjoy opportunities for personal developmentTo develop and co-ordinate a flexible, high quality service for adults with a mental health needs, a learning disability and autism
To lead and manage staff so as to ensure that the highest levels of performance and standards of work are achieved
To ensure that service users are enabled to become as independent as possible and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness.Senior staff will be required to participate in an on-call rota for which appropriate payments will be made.
Relevant experience of supporting individuals with a learning disability is essential, as is experience of staff supervision, recruitment and management. Shift patterns vary between 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm and 2pm-10pm.
The service has great public transport links and a bus stop right outside, with regular routes to the local bus station. There is also off street parking nearby.
