The Role
As an Adult Support Worker, you will:
- Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of adults in our care.
- Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
- Encourage and promote independence by supporting life skills and social activities.
- Build positive relationships to foster emotional well-being and confidence.
- Manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure all care and support aligns with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols.
- Individuals who are dedicated to supporting adults to achieve their full potential.
- Must have previous experience in a care or support role or a CQC regulated setting
- Understanding on CQC standards and procedures
- Are resilient, patient, and adaptable to varying needs and situations.
Requirements:
- Must have an enhanced Adult and Child DBS that is registered on the update service or must be willing to obtain one.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
