This family office construction firm specialises in building innovative spaces in prime London locations with a range of projects in their portfolio. This company is looking for someone to lead the finance team and collaborate with the board to drive them through a financial restructure to enhance efficiency and promote long-term growth for the company.
Your new role
In this role, you will lead the Finance Team, engaging in day-to-day reporting, directly reporting to the Board, and supporting their strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the Group's successes on both a financial and a non-financial level, and ensuring adherence to financial processes and controls. You will also maintain the accuracy and completeness of the finance system and ledger for precise financial reporting responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining financial strategies, procedures, and policies.
- Creating, implementing, monitoring, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business.
- Getting stuck in with the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial reports.
- Leading fundraising efforts and maintaining relationships with lenders and financial partners.
- Planning and managing growth and investment strategies through financial models.
- Overseeing all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and contract monitoring.
What you'll need to succeed
- A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- 10 years PQE - ideally with experience in multi-site or asset management
- Experience in a family office / SME environment
- Experience in scaling-up, rapidly growing businesses
- Financial modelling skills are highly desirable - they will look for transformation.
- Hands-on and willing to roll-up his/her sleeves
