We have an excellent opportunity available within our Customer Marketing team for you to grow your career and make a difference at Birds Eye! The Customer Marketing team deliver cross channel shopper activations across all retail sectors with a focus on Grocery accounts and across Birds Eye UK, aligning our customer’s strategies with our Birds Eye strategy to create compelling campaigns for our shoppers.

Responsibilities:

About the role…

Joining us as the Junior Customer Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for the implementation and positive influencing of shopper marketing activities and shopper behaviour in our Aunt Bessie’s, Birds Eye and Goodfella’s brands across all customers. You’ll do this by developing a strong programme of instore and online activity aligned with marketing, sales, and category. You will also be responsible for:

  • Complete briefing forms for the retailer’s media agencies across all accounts, engage Retailer media agencies and creative agencies to implement initiatives based on shopper insight.
  • Own Brandbank, ensure all images are up to date and that customers and agencies are using the correct images.
  • Ownership of own accounts and projects to drive the Customer Marketing agenda from initiative through to launch.
  • Liaise cross functionally to land instore shopper activity.
  • Ensure customer plans are up to date with the latest activity and funding levels with timely communication to the business.
  • Weekly retailer store visits and online checks to ensure activity has landed correctly, to track competitor activity and to understand shopper behaviour within the Frozen category and reported to the business.

Qualifications:

About you…

We’re looking for a passionate shopper/customer marketing individual who has previous experience of working in a similar role within FMCG retailers or experience working with or in a marketing agency ideally within a shopper marketing or online environment.

You’re used to working in a demanding fast paced environment and handle the challenges that come with that. You’re a confident communicator, able to influence and challenge stakeholders in the right way.

  • You’ve exceptional attention to detail, you’re tenacious in your approach to achieve targets and you have a positive/personable attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ownership and responsibility for achieving personal growth
  • Understanding of the instore guidelines and capabilities for each customer
