With Ofsted outstanding leadership and student behaviour, our client secondary school in the heart of Daventry are currently on the look out for a Teacher of Science to join their team from January 2025. Open to ECT and subject specialists, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to develop a love for science and achieve excellent academic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a science-related subject.
- Experience teaching science at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
