Management Accountant | Pontefract | £40,000

An opportunity to join a market-leading business in Pontefract to recruit a Management Accountant.

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business with accurate and insightful financial information. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing daily production schedules and analysing variances to standards
• Creating short-term forecast P&Ls and comparing them to previous weeks
• Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of weekly financial results, including stock reconciliations and variance analysis
• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Approving purchase ledger payment runs
• Assisting the Credit Controller with bank reconciliations

About You:

• Previous experience in Management Accounts
• Working towards or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
