Director of Faculty - Humanities
Elliott Hudson College is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Director of Faculty - Humanities. This role is of great importance to our work as a college - the successful applicant will be expected to be responsible for continually driving improvement in order to achieve the vision of the college and uphold the core values.
The role is to lead a team of Subject Leaders across the Humanities faculty. The faculty is comprised of the following subjects: History, Classical Civilisation, English Language, English Literature, GCSE English, Geography, Politics and Religious Studies.
Potential applicants should have:
- A degree in the relevant subject and qualified teacher status.
- Good understanding of your subject and subjects beyond your teaching specialism within the faculty.
- Knowledge of strategies that promote a positive climate for learning in subjects with differing demands.
- A passion for education and for making a difference to disadvantaged students.
- Ability to provide clear evaluation and strategies for improvement for leadership teams.
