TEACHER OF HISTORY
Pay Range: Teachers Main/Upper Pay ScaleActual Salary from: £31,650 – £49,084 (M1 - U3)
Start Date: 1st September 2025
The Role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Teacher of History.- The position will suit an experienced or early career teacher.
We are a community where everyone feels they belong and are the best they can be. We were inspected by Ofsted in September 2023 and judged “good” in all areas.
Our strong history team forms part of our Global Academy: History, Geography, RE/Citizenship, RSHE+, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Law, Economics, Government and Politics.
We offer history across all key stages including GCSE and A level history.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Be accountable for student progress and development within your classes.
- Be innovative in your own teaching and to develop and enhance the teaching practice of others.
- Plan collaboratively with colleagues in order to promote effective practice and provide a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum.
- Be a form tutor to promote a sense of belonging amongst our students.
