Job Summary:The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure of the organization. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure patterns, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain the server and storage reference architecture library. Design technical solutions based on business, operational, and technical requirements.
- Implementation: Oversee the deployment of infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet the agreed requirements and resolve any technical issues.
- Capacity Planning: Implement and manage a capacity planning program for servers and storage.
- Documentation: Publish build-to and review as-built documentation for network, server, and storage designs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to design and implement effective solutions that align with the organization's goals.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously evaluate existing monitoring tools and recommend replacements or complementary tools to address gaps.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS, ITIL, MCSE, TOGAF, or VMware.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with a focus on network architecture for multinational enterprises.
- Skills:
o Deep understanding of primary AWS services, storage, DNS, VMware, IP networking, Active Directory, load balancing, and firewalling.
o Strong programming expertise in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or Scala.o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
