We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HGV/PSV Advanced Technician (PO3) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet, which includes Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) and Public Service Vehicles (PSV).

With a focus on advanced diagnostic techniques and repair methodologies, you will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting faults, conducting routine maintenance, and implementing engineering improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on HGV and PSV vehicles
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities
Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement engineering improvements
Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs as needed
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Proven experience in HGV or PSV repair and maintenance
Advanced diagnostic skills using modern technology and tools
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations in the workshop environment

Hours Per Week: 35.00

Start Time: 06:00
End Time: 14:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.58

Location: Plymouth, South West England
