Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Hours: 08:30 am to 15:30 pm

• We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for Schools near Torquay, committed to creating an environment where kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
• Our schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning through a broad and engaging curriculum. We strive to provide each pupil with the opportunity to discover their own identity, achieve academic success, and experience personal growth.
• With exceptional expertise in safeguarding and a flexible approach to meeting individual needs, the schools work closely with families to build positive relationships and foster high self-esteem.
• Our goal is to nurture caring and successful citizens, enhancing their life chances and encouraging them to positively impact those around them.

• Have experience working with children with SEN, either on a 1:1 basis or within a classroom setting.
• Be passionate about supporting SEN children.
• Be flexible, proactive, and patient.
• Communicate effectively as part of a team.
• Be committed to a full-time role.
• While experience in education is preferred, those with a background in support work often have transferable skills.
