Job Profile
Sales Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Maidstone, Kent. The successful candidate will either be an experienced sales engineer within manufacturing / engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Graduate who is keen for a sales role within engineering.This would be an excellent opportunity to learn of senior members of the team. The role will involve travel 2-4 times a year to the Middle East (1 week at a time). This is for a financially secure international company who are looking for this position due to expansion.
The role will be internally based with travel only being abroad.
Sales Engineer Job Overview- Maintaining and growing key accounts and distributors.
- Following up leads generated by the company's marketing activities and prospecting for new business, especially on core products.
- Providing in-depth technical support to identify and solve customer problems using products/services.
- Present the company professionally to maintain market leading image & reputation.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
- Experience within a sales role in an engineering environment would be advantageous
- Ideally the candidate would have some experience in the industrial abrasives & machinery.
- Salary will be dependent on experience but likely £30k-£40k
- Yearly bonus

- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (Rising with service up to 25)
- 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday
