Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker/Health Care Assistant to join our Neuro Rehab team. This role is integral to providing high-quality care and support to individuals who are recovering from neurological conditions. As a Support Worker/Health Care Assistant, you will be working closely with clients to assist them in their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.You will be responsible for implementing tailored care plans, fostering a supportive environment, and encouraging client engagement in therapeutic activities. This position requires a blend of empathy, patience, and professional skill, as you will interact with clients who may have varying degrees of cognitive and physical abilities.

ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Support clients in implementing their personalized care plans
Encourage and motivate clients to participate in rehabilitation and therapeutic activities
Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the healthcare team
Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and care provided
Requirements
Previous experience in a health care or support role, particularly in neuro rehabilitation preferred
Relevant qualifications or training in health care assistance or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
Basic understanding of neurological conditions and rehabilitation principles
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 19:30End Time: 08:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
Location: Wishaw, North Lanarkshire
