We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join Teaching Personnel.
We partner with a wide range of Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools across the North East; however, for this role, we are specifically seeking candidates who can travel to Secondary schools in the Durham area.
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education before pursuing a PGCE or teacher training.
Responsibilities:- Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Providing tailored one-on-one support to students when required
- Assisting with administrative tasks and classroom preparation
- A bachelor’s degree in any subject
- A strong interest in working with young people and supporting their education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development
