The Person

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual. You may be working towards your CIMA/ACCA Qualification or already be fully qualified, however if you can demonstrate extensive knowledge of running a finance function, they would love to hear from you.

Your previous experience may have been gained working for a major house builder or service provider but what is important is the willingness and ability to do the right thing.

Key Skills:

  • Part or fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Above all, what matters most is your willingness and ability to do the right thing and maintain high standards.

The Role

As the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing our financial reporting for a key area of the business.

You will work closely with senior leadership team to ensure the company is financially robust and compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Your role will involve producing monthly financial reports, overseeing the preparation of accurate monthly and annual financial statements, Provide financial insight and analysis to senior management to support decision-making, Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring continuous professional development.

You will also be instrumental in identifying opportunities for system improvements and ensuring that all financial activities align with our company standards. This role offers you the chance to make a real impact within a dynamic and supportive team, contributing directly to their mission of delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.

What your day will look like:

  • Overseeing and managing a Finance team
  • Completing routine processes such as raising Journals in line with business schedules
  • Full Production of Month End Board Park
  • Production of KPI’s and analysis
  • Ensuring our customers’ requirements & expectations are met in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Identifying areas of improvement within current systems.
  • Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed.
  • Achieving quality standards and fully reconciled customer accounts.
