Production Manager
Recruit4tsff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in the packaging sector, in their search for a new Production Manager to work in their Liverpool based manufacturing facility.
What our client is offering for the successful Production Manager:
- Basic Salary of up to £38,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
- Working hours: 40 per week
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am
- 25 Days holiday

- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring targets are met and compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
- Manage workforce performance, fostering strong working relationships across teams and with the site management.
- Collaborate with the Transport Department to ensure smooth material movements for production.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilisation
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control procedures and address any issues promptly.
- Drive production KPIs, manage labour planning, and organize resources for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Work with the Maintenance Team to ensure plant uptime through proactive maintenance measures.
- Handle material deliveries, inspections, and turnaround processes.
- Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards, reporting, and training requirements.
- Generate reports and attend site meetings to review production, safety, and stock performance.
- Previous experience in a production management/ supervisor role - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience working in the packaging sector - BENEFICIAL
- Proven experience of managing a diverse workforce
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- LEAN manufacturing training- BENEFICAL
- Health & Safety qualification - BENEFICAL
