Role: Analyst, IT Support EngineerLocation: Central London
Reporting to: Director, IT Support and Infrastructure Manager
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering top-notch IT support? We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure while providing exceptional service to our team.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver prompt and effective first-line and second-line IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Set up and maintain meeting rooms, AV equipment, and teleconferencing solutions.
- Support Microsoft operating systems, Office365, and enterprise applications.
- Manage Active Directory and Entra ID accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Handle mobile device management using Intune, Company Portal, and Microsoft Authenticator.
- Configure and maintain printers and other peripherals.
- Conduct routine maintenance and support for PC hardware and software.
- Collaborate with the IT support and infrastructure team on system updates and improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to project work, including desktop computer configurations and meeting room support.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum two years of experience in IT support with a customer service focus.
- A professional, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proven track record of working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in a financial or professional services environment is advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Essential Skills:
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11)
- Office365 administration
- Active Directory / Entra ID management
- Desktop/User automation using Group Policy and/or SCCM
- Configuration and support for Intune, Company Portal, and Microsoft Authenticator
- Exchange Online and Exchange Server administration
- Printer configuration and maintenance
- PC hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Market Data platforms like Bloomberg, Eikon, or FactSet
- Experience with Citrix environments
- Understanding of network fundamentals (preferably Cisco)
- Exposure to Mitel telephone systems

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 with bonus and competitive benefits (including 30 days holiday)
