Job Description

24 hours per week (2 nights per week on a permanent rota) - this role includes every other weekend.

Hourly Rate: £21 + paid breaks

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Night Nurse to join our client's Nursing Home team. As a Night Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents, particularly those with dementia or requiring end of life care.

This role will require working night shifts to ensure 24/7 care for their residents.

Qualifications

RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
Prior experience in elderly care, dementia care, or end of life care preferred
Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Administering medication and treatments as prescribed
Monitoring and assessing residents' health and well-being throughout the night
Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement care plans
Providing emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care and progress
Responding to emergencies and taking appropriate action as necessary
