About the Role
We are looking for a Dual Diagnosis Team Leader to join CGL RISE, our specialist substance misuse service in Ealing Borough. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of people experiencing complex mental health challenges alongside substance use.

Location: EalingFull Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 to £37,184.91 (pro rata for part time)
Inner London weighting: £4,133.14 (pro rata for part time)
Full time Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: 11-Months Fixed Term or Internal Secondment (Maternity Cover) from start date and is due to start at the beginning June 2025.
Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader, you will:
- Provide operational leadership to a team, offering supervision, reflective practice, and performance support.
- Empower staff to foster hope, choice, and empowerment for each person accessing treatment.
- Ensure staff have the skills to identify and support individuals, children, and families at risk.
- Promote best practices through observed practice and values-based feedback.
- Lead on recruitment, induction, and professional development of team members.
Key Objectives:
- Support individuals facing significant risks and unmet needs, with a focus on improving long-term outcomes.
- Enhance engagement and retention in both mental health and substance misuse treatment.
About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled leader with:
- Experience in leading high-performing teams within health and social care.
- Experience in working compassionately with individuals experiencing dual diagnosis challenges, ensuring person-centered and trauma-informed support.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and working with families where social care interventions are in place.
- A passion for empowering both individuals accessing our service and staff.
- Strong communication and IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A strong background in leadership, assertive outreach, and engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of community treatment pathways and support services.
- A commitment to making long-term, positive changes in people’s lives.
