We are looking for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student with special educational needs. If you have a passion for helping children achieve their potential and have experience working with SEN, we’d love to hear from you.
Role Overview:
- Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)
- Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for a student with SEN.
- Assist with personalised learning plans to help the student progress academically and socially.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and support.
- Help the student engage with classroom activities and manage their behaviour in a positive way.
- Track the student’s progress and communicate with teachers and parents.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties).
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with students.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers and parents.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in SEN or Teaching Assistant).
