Trainee Health & Safety Officer. (PIK)
Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.
We are the leading provider of aircraft maintenance and engineering services in Scotland As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a Trainee Health and Safety Officer to join our team.
As a Trainee Health and Safety Officer at Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance, you will work closely with our Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices. You will be responsible for carrying out risk assessments, creating policies and procedures, and providing training to employees.
Responsibilities-- Carry out risk assessments and implement control measures
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents and create reports
- Conduct safety audits and inspections
- Provide health and safety training to employees
- Assist in the creation of emergency response plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
