Description

The Housing Solutions Officer (SO2) plays a vital role in supporting the mission of providing housing solutions for individuals and families in need. This position demands a proactive and empathetic individual who can effectively engage with clients while navigating the complexities of housing services.
As a Housing Solutions Officer, you will be responsible for assessing the housing needs of clients, providing tailored advice, and facilitating access to various housing resources. You will work closely with local agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to develop and implement effective housing strategies that align with public policy and community needs.
You will also play a key part in crisis intervention, collaborating with clients to stabilize their situations and assist in long-term housing solutions. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and housing solutions provided.
Monitor the progress of clients in securing stable housing situations.

Stay informed about the latest developments in housing policy and best practices.

Requirements
A degree in social work, public policy, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in housing services or social services is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Familiarity with local housing regulations and assistance programs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data management.

Hours Per Week: 36.00

Start Time : 09:00
End Time : 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.55
