ACS is looking for a talented and highly organised Project Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to the success of our programmes, ensuring smooth communication and efficient data management between parents, students, teachers, and the wider organisation.

Job Details

Reports to:

Project Officer and Programme Manager

Works closely with:

Trustees, Membership Secretary, Bookkeeper, Sessional Tutors

Key External Contacts:

Local community schools, children’s centres, libraries, youth centres, parents/carers, voluntary organisations, and other relevant agencies

Salary:

£20,000 - £21,000 per year (Pro Rata)

Hours per week:

16 hours (2 days a week)

Contract Duration:

Fixed-term (November 2024 – October 2025), with a possibility of extension

Main Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Support: Assist the Programme Manager, Project Officer, and team with administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
  2. Programme Management: Support the Project Officer in planning, evaluation, and reporting on programmes.
  3. Admissions: Manage admissions for Saturday school, holiday programmes, and adult classes to ensure timely enrolment.
  4. Communication: Communicate with tutors to ensure timely submission of monitoring data and liaise with parents/adults about upcoming events.
  5. Event Support: Prepare sign-in sheets, book rooms, arrange catering, and assist at events, which may include some evening and weekend hours.

Strong organisational skills
Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Excellent attention to detail
Experience in project coordination or administration
Proficiency with project management tools
A background in teaching or training is advantageous
