Care Assistant - Earlies
Are you providing support for the elderly within their homes? Love the work but tired of the travelling around? We may have the role that would be perfect for you……
We are looking for an experienced care assistant to cover early shifts within a service where the residents have their own apartments within the building. Care would be provided by you and a dedicated team of carers with scheduled calls being maintained on a rota basis to suit the needs of the residents.
The residents are semi-independent but the role will involve the usually level of personal care similar to community care, you will also administer medication where required, assist with meal preparation, domestic duties and some shopping trips in the local community.Some of the double-up residents do require assisted moving with hoists and other moving aids.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Strong experience of the administrating and recording of medication.
- Full up-to-date CV
- The ability to provide professional references covering at least the last 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

You will be working from 06:00 to 14:00 on days between Monday to Sunday.
You will be paid £11.44 per hour, rising to £12.92 after 13 weeks with the hour from 06:00 to 07:00 being paid at £15.22.
