Network Engineer - SC Cleared

• £500 - £600 per day - Inside IR35

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network Engineer to join our agile team, focusing on complex technical support activities within project deployments. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is keen on making a significant impact in transforming how the world works.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide technical support during project deployments, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.
• Advise project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the technical implementation of medium to large infrastructures, adhering to timescale estimates and identifying potential risks.
• Work within a technical framework on larger projects to meet customer requirements.
• Manage systems within SLA parameters, proposing and implementing improvements to meet service level requirements.
• Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving problems, obtaining necessary information and engaging with third parties when required.
• Stay updated with new products, tools, and techniques, promoting their use within the business to enhance continuous improvement of capability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching following design specifications.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage costs within own scope of responsibility.
• Proven track record of resolving issues with workarounds or fixes provided in a timely manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative in a team setting.
• Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and technologies.
