Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and hardworking teacher who are committed to raising the attainment of young people in SEN based provision working with ages 11-19. The school is rated as 'outstanding' by Ofsted and continues to demonstrate this throughout their values and ethos.

  • Full-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)
  • SEN-based provision
  • Supporting children with complex needs aged 11-19

The successful candidate will:

  • plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students.
  • prepare teaching materials
  • help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn.
  • manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
  • understanding of the national curriculum and adapting this to the children's needs and abilities

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • Hold a QTS
  • Experience with SEN pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
