We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to oversee the operations of Sandown House, a prestigious property located in the charming town of Nairn. This is a live-in position.
As the House Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of Sandown House, ensuring the delivery of top-tier service and care to residents and guests. Your expertise in property management, leadership, and customer service will be key to maintaining the property’s excellent reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of Sandown House, ensuring the highest standard of service, hospitality, and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
- Manage and supervise a team of staff, including training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping services to maintain the property in immaculate condition.
- Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets and financial reports to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as required.
- Implement and maintain safety and security protocols to protect residents, guests, and the property.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, and service providers, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a similar role, preferably within a high-end residential or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, guests, and service providers.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Competence in cooking, with the ability to prepare and serve breakfast to a high standard.
