Female Support Worker
- Gowerton, Swansea
- Hourly rate £11.60 to £12.00
- Full time - 40.25 hours per week

At Ty Seren we support adults with complex needs associated with autism. We embrace sector-leading practice and blend education, care and therapeutic support to provide tailor-made placements for unique individuals.There are plenty of opportunities for socialising with communal lounges and a large kitchen and dining area and several acres of fields and woodland.
A day in the life of working at Ty Seren includes:
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
- Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
- Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
- Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
- Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;

- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs;
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes;
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts;
- A driving licence isn't essential, but would be advantageous;
