Job Description

This is an exciting role for a qualified or QBE accountant to work as an Interim until end of March 2025

• Develop NHS finance costing model for the organisation Including:
• Expand the range of services and activities which we cost within our costing model/returns
• Work with services across the organisation to identify, validate and use activity information for costing
• Implement improvements and automation to our Microsoft Excel costing model and develop reporting mechanisms including dashboard reporting

Support value work within the organisation including:

• Develop value analysis throughout the services
• Undertaking benchmarking and using benchmarking information to drive forward improvement
• Creation of value projects database

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner (Costing and Value) should have:

• Professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA, or equivalent. QBE's with relevant experience will be considered
• Proven experience in a similar role would be desirable.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adept at using financial software and MS Office.
• A thorough understanding of financial regulations and standards.

• A competitive salary range of £238.72 - £273.86 per day via an Umbrella company.
• Temporary position until March 2025 with potential for extension.
