We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Brentwood, Essex. This rewarding role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children reach their full potential, patience, and a proactive approach to learning support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, tailored to their individual needs.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students.
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the SENCO.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- The school is easily accessible with excellent transport links from central and South East London.
- Competitive daily rate of £90 - £110, depending on experience.
