Role Overview We are urgently looking for an experienced Locum Substance Misuse nurse to join our client/s team in Merseyside. Hours & Pay Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)37.5 hours per week Dates: ASAP, 3 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 3 months) Pay Rate: £33/hr PAYE or £38/hr umbrella (strictly no limited companies) Responsibilities Undertake physical and mental health assessments and signpost/refer to primary care or appropriate secondary health care services for identified health issues.

Perform Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification. Assist in the titration process for opiate service users. Provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing. Provide Hepatitis B vaccinations and undertake phlebotomy.
Contribute to Naloxone strategy. Offer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing to service users. Utilise psychosocial intervention, including Integrated Test and Evaluation Plans in both one-to-one and group settings. Qualifications & Experience Current NMC registration.
