Quality Engineer

Our engineering team, based in Milton Keynes, play a key role in both developing new products and in ‘solution engineering’ for customers. We now wish to strengthen the team and are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer, well suited to the interface between Quality and the customer.

The ideal candidate should be qualified with minimum in A level/BTEC in ICT or Engineering with 2 years experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment. He/She should be comfortable with using PC based Excel spreadsheets and Word document.

• Inspecting parts for quality requirements & ensure they meet the required criteria as per our engineering drawings.
• Further development of our Quality System within the organisation ensuring that all systems, processes procedures are aligned with the requirements of ISO 9001 2015 and embedded within the business culture.
• Supporting Health & Safety compliance.
• Hands on inspection.
• First off and periodical process inspection.
• Goods-in inspection.
• Ensuring all products & services supplied to the customer meet their specifications.
• Produce NCR, COC & LOC.
• Developing a Quality culture within the organisation.
• CMM, although training can be provided.
• Supplier liaison as required.
• Resolving all quality matters.
• Have basic knowledge of calibration records of tools, such as calipers, micrometers
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Work in accordance with company procedures.
• Fluent English spoken and written.
• This role will ideally suit those with the right to live & work in the UK without restrictions, as we are unable to offer sponsorship at present time

Hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday. 08:00 to 13:00 Friday.
