SUPPORT WORKER OPPORTUNITIES – CAMBRIDGESHIRE
A client, a specialist provider of education and care for children and young people with complex needs, is looking to recruit Support Workers for permanent roles in Meldreth, near Royston. No experience is required, as full training is provided.
Key Information:
Location: Meldreth, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire borderPositions: Full-time and part-time available, including weekend-only shifts
Salary: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour (£1,500 welcome bonus available*)
Training: Full training provided, with funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care after probation
About the Role:
Support Workers play a vital role in empowering children and young people (aged 9-19) with severe and profound communication difficulties linked to conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, and brain injuries. The role includes: ✔ Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and social activities
✔ Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy✔ Supporting learning and social development in a safe and engaging environment
✔ Encouraging independence and building strong relationships

✔ Ability to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
