Assistant Accountant
Robert Half are currently supporting a leading business based in Paignton, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity.
Job Title: Assistant AccountantSalary: £28,000 - £33,000
Duration: 12 Months
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Inventory accounting and reporting.
- Producing overhead analysis for our international division.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Group reporting
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Process & review expenses
- Entry of GL journal vouchers as required.
- File/Folder upkeep, including ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Process note upkeep.
- Audit Assistance
Desirable Experience:
- 2-5 years finance experience
- AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude, energetic, self-motivated and a team player
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with suppliers.
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines.
