Job description

We are currently seeking an IT Technician to support one of the leading schools in Pembrokeshire.

The work you will be undertaking as a school IT technician can vary greatly depending on the school’s IT needs, you could be working by yourself, working as part of a team or even training students and teachers. Despite the varying responsibilities, here is a list of tasks you may be expected to undertake:

Maintaining the school’s network
Installing and upgrading software and applications
Providing training and technical support for teachers and pupils
Running diagnostics
Undertaking the development and maintenance of the school’s website
Maintaining and purchasing hardware peripherals
Ensuring internet systems are safe and offer full child protection

Job Specification
Role: IT Technician
Rates from: £110 - £120 a day
Location: Pembroke
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time

Hours: 8:30-3:30 (dependent on the school)
Experience, Training & Qualifications

Anyone with a Level 3 qualification or relevant degree is welcome to apply.

Right to work in UK
Two references
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (formerly CRB check) – available via Suppleo Education *Education Workforce Council (EWC)
