Family Support Worker
We are looking for Residential Family Practitioners to join our team and work in Leicestershire providing support and assessment to parents and their children in a residential setting.
As a Residential Family Practitioner you will work as part of a team of support workers to deliver a high standard of care at all times within a 'home from home' nurturing environment. You will support families to develop their parenting capacity and support parents on a day to day basis to provide care for their children.You recognise that the role is to help support residents maximise their choices, rights and decisions.
The successful candidate must have;- Experience working as a family support worker in a residential setting or within their own home
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm
- Dedicated and committed with a “can-do” attitude
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare/Children & Young People Workforce/ Residential Childcare - desired not essential
