English Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving English department. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students with a love for literature, language, and creative writing. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to [KS3/KS4/KS5] students
- Develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments
- Foster a love for literature and language through innovative teaching methods
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, such as book clubs and drama productions
Ideal English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Specialism or experience in English Language and Literature
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as an English Teacher.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of English
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
