I am currently working with multiple SEN settings across West Yorkshire that are looking for engaging, committed and confident people to join their team full time as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The schools look after children with varying needs including ASC, PMLD, SEMH and Prefound Disabilities.

About the role:

• Working with small groups of pupils.
• Working with SEN students.
• Providing intervention support.
• 1:1 support for SEN and lower ability pupils.

• Some experience of working with children or in a school (Desirable).
• Ability to work 5 days a week (Required)
• Experience with SEN students (desirable).
• A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils.
• Have a passion for working with children with adverse backgrounds.
• Be empathetic, patient, and caring.
• Creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils.
• Some knowledge of basic core subjects.
• Must be okay with personal Care (Non-negotiable)

Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.

• There are full-time and part-time positions available.
• You will develop your knowledge of the national curriculum.
• This is an ideal post for someone looking for experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
