About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Maths Teacher to join their committed teaching team at a highly regarded secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students
- Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire a passion for Maths
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Maths curriculum and share best practices
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
