Teaching Assistant - KS2 (Years 4 & 5)

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in enhancing academic progress and ensuring all pupils receive the guidance they need to succeed. This long-term opportunity offers the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

• Provide in-class support to Year 4 and Year 5 pupils, ensuring they stay engaged and on track
• Assist in delivering lessons, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs
• Help maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support small-group interventions and catch-up sessions to boost pupil progress
• Work alongside teaching staff to monitor progress and implement feedback
• Encourage independence and confidence in pupils by fostering a supportive learning environment

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Have experience working in a primary school setting, particularly in KS2
• Be confident in supporting a range of abilities, including pupils with SEN
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment
